Value House Painting is a locally owned San Antonio interior painting company. Owner Michael Hernandez has been painting homes and businesses since 2003.

Most of an interior job is what happens before any color goes on: protecting your things, repairing the ceilings and walls, and matching texture so the patch disappears.
What we handle
Walls, ceilings, trim, crown molding, doors and cabinets, plus the repair and prep work that has to happen first.
Our interior process starts with covering and protecting all of your flooring, walls, furnishings and fixtures. We will remove all light switch and outlet covers, and window treatments, and make all the agreed ceiling and wall repairs needed. You should still be able to live in the house while we work.
Nail pops, settling cracks, anchor holes, dents from furniture and old water stains all get handled before any paint goes on. Repairs hidden under a fresh coat are the ones that come back, so we agree on the repair list with you up front and take care of it first.
A patch that does not match the wall around it will show the first time afternoon light hits it. We match orange peel, knockdown, level 5, hand texture and smooth finishes so a repaired area reads as part of the wall instead of a spot somebody fixed.
Baseboards, door casings, window trim, doors and crown molding take more abuse than any wall in the house, and they show every rushed brush stroke. We use the right enamel for the surface and the right tools for the profile, so the line stays crisp where trim meets wall.
Refinished cabinets change a kitchen more than almost anything else you can do to it. Cabinets are degreased, sanded and primed, then finished with a coating built to be opened, closed and wiped down every day. We also take this on as a standalone job.

Today's interior paint offers a wide variety of options and colors. There are special paints for focal rooms like foyers, formal living, and dining rooms, and master bedrooms. There are also extra durable paints for kids' rooms and high traffic areas.
We will walk you through water base and oil base, and through flat, eggshell and satin, so the finish fits the room. Michael will walk your rooms with you and help match product, sheen and color.
